Many boxing fans don’t fully understand the role of the boxing journeyman. There’s a lot to unpack in getting to grips with ‘the professional loser’ and ultimately the role is much more than that. Lewis Van Poetsch shone a light on a side of boxing that many fans never see in this discussion.
Here are two pieces I wrote on bare-knuckle boxing following a chat with promoter, Jim Freeman. It’s a growth sport and Jim made interesting comments on both gloved and bare-knuckle boxing.
